Our Story
“Some restaurants serve food. We serve a legacy.”
Arabian Bar + Café was born from a lineage of hospitality that traces back to the heart of Baghdad — carried across oceans, passed through generations, and planted here in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Every marinade, every spice blend, every dish on our menu is an act of remembrance. We don’t reinvent Middle Eastern cuisine — we honor it. The flavors you taste here are not experiments. They are heirlooms.
We want every guest who walks through our doors to feel what it meant to dine at Dinar — that quiet sense that they have been let in on something exclusive, something real, something that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the city.
Our founder’s grandfather, Azizi, ran one of Baghdad’s most distinguished dining establishments. Dinar was more than a restaurant — it was where the city’s politicians, entrepreneurs, and visionaries gathered to share meals, broker ideas, and feel, if only for an evening, that the world was full of possibility.
Azizi built something rare: a five-star experience rooted entirely in authenticity, where the food spoke for itself and the ambiance made every guest feel they had arrived somewhere important.
That spirit did not die with a generation. It was carried forward — through family kitchens, through memory, through an unrelenting belief that food this honest deserves to be shared with the world.
“This is not just our restaurant. It is Azizi’s legacy, served fresh every day.“
